Are you the JMC who left a note that the local
FINGER ("NAME") didn't know you? If so I'll
get that fixed.

Rosenfeld and others will be here for a
workshop in Los Angeles in March and I
will be in close touch with him then.

John Gill and I decided to set Morales an informal written
exam at 3.00pm on Monday. Do you want to write down a question
(it doesn't have to be accurate to the last detail because
we give him 15 mins to read through and ask clarifications).
This seeems to be the fairest way to resolve his boarderline
case!

Could you allocate some time to speak with me about my work?
I have written up some remarks to your lecture in MTC.JMC[1,dbx]. If
interested, look at it.

JOHN,
I'M GLAD YOU ARE GOING FORWARD ON THE 3850. I'M THINK
I WOULD KICK IN SOME MONEY FROM THE VERY LARGE DATA
BASE PROGRAM FOR THE SMALL USE YOU SUGGEST. I THINK WE SHOULD
DO SOMETHING TO SPEED UP FTP. THAT WOULD PROBABLY MEAN
DEFINING AN FTP2 THAT WAS FASTER, AND THE 3850
INSTALLATION WOULD HAVE TO SUPPORT BOTH FTP AND FTP2. THIS IS
BECAUSE OF THE HEAVY INVESTMENT AT MANY
DIVERSE CURRENT SITES IN FTP PROGRAMS.

CRAIG
